When ordering windshield weather stripping, you want to make sure you have at least 18 feet of a nice nylon string, the window wield caulk (two tubes are recommended), as well as a strip caulk for proper installation. Start by installing the weather stripping on the glass, which will go in this channel right here. This is a pressure fit channel, so there is no sealant necessary. Just put the glass right in. Once you have the glass installed in there, you want to open up this rear channel back here. In this channel, you want to put the strip caulk in and then the string and that's how you're going to install it on your vehicle.
Once it's installed in the car, you use the window wield tube to go around the whole outside to seal it properly. Our windshield weather stripping is sold separately. It's also available in our complete Mustang weather strip kits.
